On this Spring Soul-Nourishing Day Retreat you will have the opportunity to finally put yourself first and spend time filling your own cup to revitalise and energise those parts of your body, mind and soul that most need to be nutured and nourished.

You will be gently guided through various modalities including yoga, meditation, healing whole foods, natural art creations, and sound healing, all set in the peaceful and intimate surrounds of the Four Seasons Yoga Studio in Cherry Gardens.

The day will include:

  • Welcome circle and intention setting

  • Yoga to clear stagnant energy and release tension and stress


  • Guided meditation practice 

  • Guided shiatsu massage

  • Nourishing plant-based, whole foods lunch
 

  • Guided garden walk and hands on natural mandala art creation session

  • 
Sound healing with Chris Toms of Harmonic Essence

  • Afternoon tea and closing circle 

Your retreat facilitators

Your facilitators on the day bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge in their various fields and are looking forward to nurturing you on this special day.

Megan Kuchel, Four Seasons Yoga

Megan’s passion is sharing her love of Yoga to help others experience and appreciate the benefits of yoga for their body, mind and soul. 

She has gained qualifications in Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yoga and incorporates different elements of these styles into her classes.

For this retreat, Megan will guide you through a gentle and restorative sequence, and take you through a guided breathwork practice. The focus of this practice is embracing being still, to let your mind, body and soul rest, restore and rejuvenate.

Leah Cooper, The Centre of Ki

Leah is a yoga teacher and retreat veteran, having run several day and weekend retreats over the last 15 years for her yoga students.

Trained in Japanese therapeutic yoga - a practice that incorporates yoga, meditation, shiatsu massage and macrobiotics - her practice spans over 25 years.

Leah is excited to be collaborating with Megan and brings her calming and grounded energy to the day,  guiding you through meditation, a mini massage, nature art, and serving you a delicious plant-based, whole foods lunch.  

Chris Toms, Harmonic Essence

Harmonic Essence is the passion of Chris Toms. Based in the Adelaide Hills in South Australia, Chris was a performing musician for over 30 years, playing percussion and drums in multiple bands, as well as singing.

His passion for music and the use of sound as a healing modality, led him to become a certified Sound Healing practitioner.

During this retreat, Chris will take you on a sound healing journey, creating a soundscape that will take you deep within yourself and nourish you from the inside out.

Frequently asked questions

I'm relatively new to yoga, is this day retreat suitable for me?

Absolutely! No prior yoga experience is required to attend this retreat.

What do I need to bring to the retreat?

  • A yoga mat. If you don’t have a mat, let us know and you can borrow one of ours.

  • A drink bottle. We will have water available if you need a refill.

  • A warm jacket/warm clothes. It can get windy and cool, so please ensure you bring some warm clothes.

  • If it’s raining, a raincoat or umbrella. We will be in the garden at some point throughout the day so please ensure you have something to keep you dry.

 

We will provide you with:

  • A bolster, cushion, blanket and eye mask.

  • Lunch and afternoon tea.

  • A beautiful setting for you to relax and enjoy the day.

If I have an injury, can I still participate?

If you are carrying any injuries and would like to participate, please get in touch and let us know what your needs are. We will do our best to support you so you can get the most out of the day.

I have special dietary requirements, can you cater for my needs?

We are able to cater for diverse dietary needs. Please inform us of any allergies and food requirements when completing the registration form you will receive after booking in. Note that lunch will be plant-based and gluten free.

Important information

Tickets are not refundable. If you are unable to attend, you can transfer the tickets to another person, or a credit note can be given for redemption at a future workshop or yoga classes.

 

Please note, if we don’t reach our minimum of 8, this retreat may be rescheduled or a credit note/refund will be provided.
