About Megan
Megan started Yoga 21 years ago when pregnant with her daughter. At this time she practised Iyengar Yoga (A style of Yoga that uses props, ie straps, blankets, chairs etc to enable students to hold poses in specific alignment). She continued with her Iyengar yoga for a few years until she started Ashtanga Yoga (Ashtanga Yoga is a set series of sequences/poses that are often practised in a particular order. The practise focuses on body alignment and holding a pose for up to 5 breaths). To this day she continues to enjoy this style of Yoga.
Having completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course at Power Living Yoga Adelaide, Megan is qualified to teach Vinyasa Yoga which has a strong focus on energetic flow and is a dynamic form of Yoga. She has also completed her Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course with Melanie Mclaughlin from The Yin Space.
Having experienced these different styles of Yoga, Megan is excited and confident to incorporate different elements of each of these styles into her classes.
Megan is excited to share her love of Yoga and to help people experience and appreciate the benefits of yoga for their body, mind and soul. She feels very honoured to be able to share her love of yoga with her students in her intimate and peaceful Yoga studio in Cherry Gardens.
Aptly named Four Seasons Yoga, windows from the studio look out over the verandah to the garden beyond, taking in every change of season. Free roaming chickens and the family kelpie are also there to add to the picture.
Immerse yourself in this beautiful studio, designed to make you feel at home and at the same time feel as if you are in a nurturing space to retreat and to give this precious and valuable time to yourself.
Megan can’t wait to welcome you to her studio.
